Antenna Fitting
Antenna performance can be changed
considerably if not fitted correctly.
An antenna that needs
a 'groundplane' (generally the roof of a vehicle), will not
perform as well if it is mounted on the gutter or on the wing
mirror.
For locations where you don't have access to the centre
of the roof, or if you have a fiberglass roof, a 'ground
independent' antenna is recommended. These come in many
shapes and sizes. We will happily advise you on what will
work best for your vehicle. |
